Location and Times OpenThe CRC is located in B133 on the first floor (between the Blue House and the Purple House) of Chaska High School. The normal hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 3:45 pm. The CRC is open on Conference nights, and individual appointments are also possible. THE LATEST CRC NEWS Are you a sophomore or junior and would like more information on financial aid? These are some links to helpful websites about financial need and scholarships - 2 recommended are the Minnesota Office of Higher Education and FinAid-Scholarships for Average Students. Although the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) can not be submitted until after January 1 of your senior year, you can estimate your results using www.fafsa4caster.ed.gov or look for the estimator at www.getreadyforcollege.org ACT test: It is recommended that juniors take the test in the Spring of junior year - and we recommend that juniors take the ACT + Writing at least once. Register at www.actstudent.org. Bring your admission ticket, 2 pencils, an approved calculator, and a current photo ID (driver's license, school ID, etc.). The calendar for test dates and registration deadlines for the 2008-2009 school year is on the ACT website also. The deadline for the December 13 test is November 7. What Publications are AvailableThe CRC has many publications for use. College guides, career books, ACT/SAT/AP practice books, videotapes/CDs, applications, financial aid guides, and Internet sources are just a few examples of what the CRC has to offer.
