Classroom Policies: A social studies classroom provides an excellent opportunity to practice the skills that help our society to function in a peaceful and working manner. In my classes, students will practice respect, open mindedness, and inquisition into the study of history and civics in order to prepare them to extend those skills to contexts outside the classroom.

Expectations:

°Be prepared!!                    -Bring materials to class every day and be on time

°Respect!!                            -Yourself, The Classroom, and Others backgrounds, ideas, and interests

°Be ready to Work!!           -From the second you walk in the door until the bell rings

°Participate!!                       -Share your wonderful ideas with all of us

°Be willing to Help!!          -Work constructively in groups and partners

Advice for Success: Come to class each day with an open mind and ready to learn. You will achieve, you will have fun, and you will succeed!
