THE LATEST CRC NEWS

Are you a sophomore or junior and would like more information on financial aid? These are some links to helpful websites about financial need and scholarships - 2 recommended are the Minnesota Office of Higher Education and FinAid-Scholarships for Average Students.  Although the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) can not be submitted until after January 1 of your senior year, you can estimate your results using www.fafsa4caster.ed.gov or look for the estimator at www.getreadyforcollege.org

ACT test:   It is recommended that juniors take the test in the Spring of junior year - and we recommend that juniors take the ACT + Writing at least once.  Register at www.actstudent.org.  Bring your admission ticket, 2 pencils, an approved calculator, and a current photo ID (driver's license, school ID, etc.). The calendar for test dates and registration deadlines for the 2008-2009 school year is on the ACT website also.  The first deadline is September 19 for the October 25 test.

Announcing free test practice and interest assessment!  Go to www.mncis.intocareers.org (call or contact Emily Mattran for the username and password) and access practice tests for the ACT/SAT and SAT Subject Tests/PSAT/ASVAB/GED/CLEP/Advanced Placement - along with the IDEAS Interest Assessment.  More information is available below.
