Course 1 ELL Using Technology - Collaboration with Hunt/Stohs.
Course Description: This course is designed for English Language Learners who have little or no experience with computer technology. Course objectives follow the mainstream Using Technology curriculum and the Minnesota ELL standards for grades 9-12.
Course Content / Objectives: Students will learn basic computer programs such as Word, Power Point, and Internet. Various projects such as creating biography slides and documents, greeting cards, and other individual and group collaborations.

Course Description: This course is designed for ELL students in grades 10 and 11. Students in this course will use selected literature as a means of developing speaking, listening, reading and writing proficiency. Improving communication skills, adding to an understanding of phonics, and increasing an awareness of grammatical and structural patterns in the English language will be emphasized. Course objectives follow the Minnesota ELL standards and state language arts standards for grades 9-12.

Course 3 ELL 3/ BST Reading/Writing
Course Description: This course is designed for ELL students who have not passed the state Basic Skills Test (BST) [Reading and/or Writing] required for graduation. The focus in both courses will be on developing and improving fundamental reading and writing skills with a narrower goal of passing the BST exam.
