HOUSING AND INTERIOR DESIGN 1 Quarter Block .50 Credit Elective: Grades 11, 12 Learning Area: Read, Listen, View Content Standard: Technical Reading, Listening & Viewing This class explores the relationship between people and their homes. Students will study housing types, furniture styles, elements and principles of design and construction of floor plans. A variety of interior design projects will allow you to apply what you’ve learned. We’ll also discuss the processes of renting and buying housing to help prepare you for independent living. |
