.5 Credits In this class students will work on their communication skills through the use of the Internet. Students will learn how to produce and manage web pages and will have the opportunity to work with a variety of web authoring tools and software. As part of the course students may produce and manage High School and District information on both the Intranet and Internet sites. Students will be
expected to learn basic HTML code to create web pages and will also use
Microsoft FrontPage. |

| Projects | |
| Project 1 is to create two web pages about yourself using HTML. The content is up to you as long as it is appropriate for the classroom and you follow all instructions. | |
| Project 2 is to create web pages using frames on a topic of your choosing. | |
| Project 3 is to research resumes and prepare an online resume. | |
| Project 4 is to create a slide show using JavaScript. | |
| Project 5 is to research what makes good web design. | |
| Project 6 is to create a web site promoting someplace to go for a vacation. | |
| Project 7 is to update or create a web page for Chaska High School. | |
| Project 8 is the final project. You will create a web of your choosing utilizing the skills you have acquired during the quarter. | |
