8th Grade – FACS
This quarter course is designed to address the issue of being an informed consumer. Topics covered will be personal/household budgets; advertising, decision-making, consumer issues as we compare/contrast potential purchases, and how consumer choices affect the community. Other areas of study include: family dynamics, stress management, laundry, fast food nutrition analysis, and construction of a sports bag.
