This is a one-of-a-kind school program in Minnesota.  It is a wonderful opportunity for students to learn music in a formal setting but playing the kind of music that they are listening to.

Students may sign up individually or as a partial or complete band.   You do not need any prior experience on any of the instruments in a band.  Open to any 6th through 8th grade student.

SCHOOL OF ROCK

School Of Rock is your introduction to how to form and play in a rock band.   Students will learn how to play guitar, keyboard, bass guitar, drums and sing.   Students will  rehearse their band and learn tunes with the guidance of school of rock staff. Students will also learn how to  get gigs!  Students will also get a rock history lesson going back to Elvis and the Beatles all the way up to Green Day and Nickelback.

The final couple weeks focus more on the performance aspect.  Each band will receive a coach that will help them rehearse and learn tunes.  Each session is a 60-minute structured
