Author websites are the best place to start.

• type the name in Google (spell correctly!) and look for the author's own website

• go to Calgary's author search site

• try Kay Vandergrift's Author / Illustrator site

• Bookspot might help you spot your favorite!

• Internet School Library Media Center has a long list

• Henrico County, Virginia has some links

• Our own Hennepin County system has a lot to offer!

Other author info:

• Birthdays - by date (which authors were born on *your* birthday?) or by author

• Internet Public Library Kidspace (a select group of authors)
