Breakfast

A healthy start to the school day.

Breakfast is available at
  • Chaska Elementary School
  • Middle School West
  • Middle School East
  • Pioneer Ridge Freshman Center
Breakfast is available at Chaska Elementary School, Middle School West, Middle School East, and Pioneer Ridge Freshman before the start of the school day. Breakfast is FREE to students who qualify for free or reduced price meals. For other students the cost is $1.25.

A nutritious breakfast is provided at these schools following the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) meal pattern requirements. School breakfast provides 1/4 of a student's daily needs for key nutrients.

Studies have proven that kids who eat breakfast achieve higher test scores, are more alert in class, visit the school nurse less often and are better behaved in school.

Breakfast food items are also sold A La Carte at Middle School West, Middle School East, and Pioneer Ridge Freshman Center. See the A La Carte tab for items available to purchase.
