Chaska High Science Bowl Team - State Champions Again!

The Chaska High Science Bowl Team was crowned State Champion again this year and will represent Minnesota in the National Science Bowl in Washington DC this spring. The win marks the seventh time Chaska High has earned the state championship since 1999. Chaska High teams have placed second twice and third once since then, as well.

Three District 112 teams competed in the Minnesota Regional Science Bowl: two from Chaska High and one from Chanhassen High.

In the first five-game round robin, all District 112 teams advanced to the second round of competition. The Chanhassen High team went on to place 4th in the competition.

Chaska High Team One ended the competition in first place by defeating a team from Wayzata High in a play-off game.

Members of the winning team are Trevor Vossberg, Jordan Hiller, Sydney Ryan, and Sean Mussack. Their coach is Pam Schmillen.
