Welcome Back!
School begins September 2 for more than 8,700 students
The 2008-09 school year begins Tuesday, September 2 for more than 8,700 District 112 students in grades K-12. They'll be greeted by 1100 staff members including 49 new teachers and 34 other new employees.

New this school year...
  • A parent notification system, SchoolReach, that will enable administrators to quickly contact parents in case of emergencies
  • A new language arts program
  • A new name and a new look in school cafeterias as our lunchrooms become the One Twelve Café
  • Parent portal expands later this year to include parents of elementary students
  • All-day kindergarten opens at Victoria Elementary and Bluff Creek Elementary for the first time. The all-day programs at Jonathan Elementary and Chanhassen Elementary will remain in place. The Kindergarten Center hosts the half-day kindergarten program.
Work on the redesign of the secondary program for grades 6-12 continues as the Core Teams bring their recommendations to the School Board this fall.
