Parenting - The most important jobIn creating the world of tomorrow, if there is job more important than parenting, we don't know what it is.Parents are a child's first teacher and a welcomed partner here in their child's educational program. Parents serve on site councils, district committees and as volunteers in our schools. Parent Involvement Coordinators serve each of our buildings. Their role is to help our staff find meaningful opportunities for parents to engage in the life of their child's school. We encourage parents to be actively involved in learning. Study after study shows that children do better in school when their parents are involved and aware of what is happening in the classroom. This section of our website is designed to connect parents to useful information quickly. If you have ideas on ways to improve this section to better meet your needs, please contact Nancy Kracke, Community Relations Director, kracken@district112.org or call 952-556-6121. | |||||||
