Technology Plan for Learning, Communication, & Information
Since our first technology plan in 1981, School District 112 has recognized the value of using technology as a tool for learning.  The School District 112 Technology Plan outlines an organized, sustainable approach for using technology to achieve our educational and operational goals. Our district's "Four Pillars of the Framework for Excellence" serve as the strategic goals for the district. Our technology plan embraces these pillars as a foundation in providing a world class education for our students.  In it we identify the roles of technology and strategies for achieving these goals.

The Four Pillars of the Framework for Excellence:

Excellent Teaching Rigorous Curriculum Nurturing Environment Prudent Management
World class education requires a talented staff with the resources, professional development, and support to utilize technology as they engage our students in learning.   An individually challenging curriculum that develops each learner's capacity to understand and apply knowledge demands technology to plan, deliver, and manage.   Developing a sense of belonging and self worth that promotes community values and positive relationships compels the use of technology for communication and supervision.   Technology access and information management empower us to effectively and efficiently manage our resources, maintaining dependability while fostering innovation.
