Monday, Nov. 16 and Tuesday, Nov. 17 are planning days for district staff, NO SCHOOL for students EXCEPT La Academia and Kinder Academy students who are already in distance learning. All students return to learning in the distance learning model on Wednesday, Nov. 18. At this time, we anticipate remaining in this model through winter break.
Next week, our district will shift to distance learning for all students grades K-12. We anticipate remaining in that learning model through winter break which ends Friday, Jan. 1.
In consultation with MDH and Carver County Public Health today, based on recent positive cases and related quarantines, La Academia and Kinder Academy will shift to a distance learning model for a two-week quarantine starting Monday, November 9.
CliftonLarsonAllen, who conducted the audit, gave the district a “clean audit opinion." This is the best an organization can do in an audit and has been the case for several years.
