Community Partnerships
The Teaching and Learning Department would like to highlight some of the collaborations we have with entities outside the district:
Rapids Lake Environmental & Visitors Center
Eastern Carver County Schools and Rapids Lake Educational and Visitors Center in Carver, MN enjoy a formalized partnership dating back to 2017. Dedicated to immersive environmental field work, students in in the district have opportunities to spend extend time on the extensive preserve and access the beautifully designed learning center. Students and their teachers engage in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM)-related experiences with the help and support of expert U.S. Fish and Wildlife staff. Rapids Lake is an incredible asset located within the district’s boundaries. ECCS is fortunate to enjoy this unique partnership.
