Multilingual teacher Mei-Kuei Hjermstad of Clover Ridge Elementary was selected as one of 128 candidates for the 2026 Minnesota Teacher of the Year award. This is the 62nd year of the award's existence. The program celebrates the tradition of excellence in teaching in Minnesota.
