The Equity and Inclusion Department would like to invite you to be a part of Eastern Carver County Schools AIPAC (American Indian Parent Advisory Committee). Some of the things we are looking forward to this year are Hooked on Books, Indigenous Peoples Day observances, and working closely with the CRC (College and Career Readiness) within the high schools and our mobile library for elementary readers. This year we would like to add a sewing/beading night open to the community, having Ribbon Skirts/Shirts available for borrow, along with any other events the AIPAC wants to collaborate on. We not only value your input with all these events but also need your partnership to make them happen.
Our hopes are to meet in person at the District Education Center at 11 Peavey Rd in Chaska. We understand that things come up and if you are unable to attend in person we can also connect with those of you virtually at that same time. Please let us know if you are interested in attending either of these options. Our first meeting was Sept. 26.
