Kristin Greene named next principal at Clover Ridge Elementary

Eastern Carver County School District is excited to name Kristin Greene as the next principal of Clover Ridge Elementary School. Greene will join the ECCS community on July 1, 2026.

Greene has over 30 years of diverse experience in education with a strong focus on elementary and early learning. She is currently serving as principal at Eastview Education Center in the Monticello School District, a position she has held since 2023. Prior to joining Monticello, she was an elementary dean in Edina Public Schools, where she also served as a K-12 peer coach and a kindergarten and first grade teacher. She earned her bachelor’s in Elementary Education and Spanish and master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of St. Thomas, and her specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Minnesota State University Mankato.

Greene earned the position following a rigorous and thorough interview process that started with a pool of over 70 candidates. Her deep experience in elementary education and literacy, her track record of strengthening instructional systems and developing high-performing staff, and her commitment to student success make her an outstanding addition to our Clover Ridge Elementary team.
