At Monday night’s board meeting, the Board approved two of the recommendations presented by Director of Finance and Operations, DeeDee Kahring, at the Board's work session earlier this month. The Board took action on two of these recommendations:
· Approved building an addition to Carver Elementary School ($9 million) funded through a lease levy.
· Adopted the resolution to close East Union Elementary at the end of the 2021-22 school year.

The Board also reviewed the FY 2021-22 Budget (Nutrition Services, Community Services, Debt Service, Proprietary & Fiduciary), the district's financial forecast, proposed budget cuts, and information related to operating referendum decisions.
