Welcome New Director of Finance and Operations

Eastern Carver County School District is excited to name Ron Meyer as the next Director of Finance and Operations. He will start his role in late July.

Meyer has over a decade of experience in school finance and operations, serving most recently as Executive Director of Finance and Operations at Osseo Area Schools. Prior to that, he was the director of finance for Eden Prairie Schools and director of transportation services at South Washington County Schools.  In addition to his school operations and finance background, Meyer is a former Eastern Carver County Schools Board member and an active member of the Minnesota Association of School Business Officials.

He earned his bachelors and Master’s in Business Administration from Bethel University.

Meyer earned the position following a rigorous and thorough interview process that included multiple rounds of interviews with various stakeholders. His wealth of experience and commitment to fiscal responsibility and transparency in the service of students makes him an excellent fit for Eastern Carver County Schools. We are proud to welcome Ron to our community of learners, teachers, and all who work to benefit young people.
