Welcome to Kindergarten

Will your child be 5 years old on or before Sept. 1 2020?
If so, it’s time to get ready for kindergarten!

Kindergarten is a big step in your child’s journey as a life-long learner. We know that when you send your child through our doors, you are trusting us with your most precious gift. It is our promise to provide a warm, safe, and welcoming environment for your child. Our students’ success and well-being is our deepest concern. Learning in Eastern Carver County Schools is a personal journey tailored to each student. To learn more about what our district can provide your child, explore our program information below.

If you have questions, please contact our Welcome Center at WelcomeCenter@district112.org or call 952-556-6112.

To register your child, you will need to:

  • Fill out registration forms Online
  • Submit a copy of your child’s birth certificate and immunization records to the Welcome Center
  • Complete an Early Childhood Screening as soon as possible. Update 5/27/20: Early childhood screenings are not being scheduled at this time. Face-to-face screening schedules will resume as soon as it is safe to do so, and after additional guidance is received from the Minnesota Dept. of Education.)
